During every one of my visits to India, I have taken street portraits of interesting passers-by.

Folk Dancer, Jodhpur, Rajasthan

I am always impressed by the openness of these people and their willingness to pose for a picture by a complete stranger. From a child’s smiling innocence to the presence of true spiritual knowledge, from sheer beauty to grounded self possession and infinite maturity, these are some of my favourite images.

I thank all of my “sitters” sincerely.
